In February 2019 we (along with Own Your I Am) surveyed 62 models of color from fashion weeks in New York, Milan, London, and Paris about their experiences as runway models backstage and in fashion.

The Results:
Models of color this season, although more represented than ever, did not feel welcomed and invited at castings and backstage. There is a lot of work still to be done in the Fashion Industry.
